How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your FoodEnvy account, you must follow these mandatory steps:

  1. Log into your FoodEnvy account using your registered email and password

  2. Navigate to Settings > Account Management > Delete Account

  3. Read the account deletion warning and data removal information

  4. Type "DELETE" in the confirmation field to confirm your request

  5. Click "Request Account Deletion" to submit your request

  6. Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to finalize the deletion

Data Deletion and Retention Policy

When you delete your FoodEnvy account, the following data will be permanently deleted within 30 days:

Individual User Data (Customer/Staff Member)

  • Staff Records: All employee information, roles, permissions, access levels

  • Complete Order History: All restaurant orders, transactions, customer data, payment records

  • Business Analytics: Sales reports, performance metrics, business insights

  • Subscription Data: Payment information, billing history, plan details, service usage

  • Restaurant Settings: Table configurations, POS settings, business preferences

The following data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance purposes:

  • Financial Records: Transaction logs and payment records (retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law)

  • Audit Logs: System access logs and security events (retained for 2 years)

  • Anonymized Usage Data: Aggregated, non-personal usage statistics for service improvement (retained indefinitely)
